Edit with AI

With Edit with AI you describe in a chat what you want to change on a texture. The AI places logos, text and colour as ordinary layers, and can draw new patterns and materials on the right part of the garment.

What it does

The AI knows which parts of the garment are the front, the back and the sleeves, because Pedify reads it from the garment’s 3D model. A logo on the chest therefore lands on the front, straight and the right way round.

Everything the AI does becomes ordinary layers you can move, scale and delete, and each answer is one step in the history.

Good to know

Edit with AI only shows when it is turned on for your account.

Open the AI tab

  1. Right-click a variant under Variants and choose Edit with AI.

  2. docs.guides.aiTexture.sections.open.steps.duplicate

  3. The editor opens on the AI tab.

  4. Tick I understand, and I have the right to use the pictures I attach.

Good to know

The AI needs the ped in 3D to know where the front is. Open the editor with the ped in the scene.

Ask for a change

Write what you want to change and press Send or Enter. For example:

  • Put this logo on the front of the shirt, with the logo attached

  • Make the sleeves red

  • Write PEDFORGE on the back

  • Make the logo smaller, or move it up a little

  • Make the shirt camouflage

Tip

Attach pictures with Attach picture, at most three per message. A logo on a white or plain background has the background taken off.

Draw something new

  1. When the AI needs to draw something new, such as a pattern or a material, the chat shows a card with what it wants to draw and what it costs.

  2. Change the description if you like. It is in English, which the drawing model understands best.

  3. When the area is larger than 2048 pixels you can choose 2K or 4K.

  4. Press Draw for 15 credits. After about 20 seconds the drawing is laid as a layer over the parts the AI chose.

Good to know

Pictures the AI draws carry Google’s invisible SynthID watermark.

Where it is sent

What you write, the pictures you attach and a preview of the texture are sent through Pedify to Google (Gemini API). For a drawing, a crop of the texture is sent too.

Pedify keeps neither the messages, the pictures nor the texture.

Warning

Only attach pictures you have the right to use, and no pictures of other people without their permission.

What it costs

A message that places a logo, text or colour, or changes AI layers, costs 3 credits. They are taken when the answer comes.

A drawing costs 15 credits up to 2K and 25 in 4K. It is taken when the drawing starts, and if it does not come about the credits are given back.

Only bought credits pay for AI texture, with the bonus a pack or a promo code brought. Starter credits, credits for Discord, invites and other free credits cannot be used here.

An answer that only answers or asks costs nothing.
